Quizzes & Tests

QUIZZES 

Quizzes are simple assessments that your instructors may use to test retention and comprehension.

To take a quiz:

  1. From the Coursework Dashboard, select the quiz you would like to take, and click the View Coursework button. NOTE: You can also view coursework by clicking the Coursework Title of the particular coursework you would like to view.
  2. Scroll down and click the Take Quiz button. (See Figure 1).
  3. Quizzes consist of three different types of questions: Multiple choice, fill in the blank, and written response questions. 
  4. To answer these questions, follow the directions for each question and make your selections/write your responses on the screen. After you have finished answering the question, click the Next Question button on the bottom right-hand corner of the question card. 
  5. When you have answered all the questions on the quiz, you will be able to review those answers on the Quiz Summary page before deciding to submit your quiz or not. To change any answer, click the thumbnail image of the question you would like to revisit on the left-hand side of the screen. 
  6. If you are ready to submit your quiz, click the Submit Quiz button on the bottom right-hand corner the Quiz Summary page. (See Figure 2).
  7. A dialogue box will appear, asking you if you are sure you want to submit this quiz. If you are sure, click the Yes button. NOTE: After you submit a quiz, you will be unable to edit or review your answers further. 

 

TESTS

Tests are assessment tools that your instructors may use to test your retention and comprehension of important course details.

To take a test:

  1. From the Coursework Dashboard, select the test you would like to take, and click the View Coursework button. NOTE: You can also view coursework by clicking the Coursework Title of the particular coursework you would like to view.
  2. Scroll down and click the Take Test button. (See Figure 3).
  3. Tests consist of three different types of questions: Multiple choice, Fill in the blank, and written response questions. 
  4. To answer these questions, follow the directions for each question and make your selections/write your responses on the screen. After you have finished answering the question, click the Next Question button on the bottom right-hand corner of the question card. 
  5. When you have answered all the questions on the test, you will be able to review those answers on the Test Summary page before deciding to submit your test or not. To change any answer, click the thumbnail image of the question you would like to revisit on the left-hand side of the screen. 
  6. If you are ready to submit your test, click the Submit Test button on the bottom right-hand corner the Test Summary page. (See Figure 4).
  7. A dialogue box will appear, asking you if you are sure you want to submit this test. If you are sure, click the Yes button. NOTE: After you submit a test, you will be unable to edit or review your answers further.
